Furthermore, it explains the rights of data subjects and how they can be exercised.
Personal Data
Your personal data includes, for example, information such as your name, address, phone number, email address, as well as other job-related information relevant to personnel placement (e.g., résumé, LinkedIn/XING profile, professional background, salary expectations, availability, interview notes).
Collection, Processing and Use
Personal data is only collected, processed, and/or used in accordance with Art. 6 GDPR if this is necessary, for example, for the establishment, content design, or modification of a contractual relationship or if there is a legitimate interest. This also applies to the processing of personal data from publicly accessible professional sources (e.g., LinkedIn, XING). The storage and internal structuring of such data within the scope of personnel placement is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR to ensure effective and qualified filling of vacancies. Contact will only be made if there is specific relevance. The information obligation according to Art. 14 GDPR is fulfilled as soon as active contact takes place. If prior information is disproportionate, we rely on Art. 14 (5)(b) GDPR.

- Contact details (email, phone number)
- Professional background, résumé
- LinkedIn/XING profile (publicly available)

Data Transfer to Third Parties and Third Countries
In the course of our business activities, it may be necessary to pass on personal data to external service providers, partner companies, or IT service providers – e.g., in the context of hosting, software operation, or application management. Processing is generally carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. In individual cases, data may also be transferred to so-called third countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA) – e.g., to providers in the USA. Such a transfer will only take place if:
- an adequate level of data protection exists in the third country (e.g., according to an EU Commission decision),
- or appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses),
- or you have expressly consented. In the case of service providers based in the USA, data transfer may also be based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, provided the provider is certified accordingly.
Storage Duration
Unless otherwise consented or revoked, data is stored only as long as necessary to fulfill the processing purpose. Personal data from applications is deleted 6 months after the conclusion of the selection process. In the case of legal or contractual retention obligations (e.g., enforcement of commission claims against clients), data processing will be restricted instead until all blocking reasons cease to apply. If you have given your explicit consent to further optional storage of your personal data (e.g., consent to join our “talent pool”), we store your personal data based on your consent until revoked. The sole purpose of storage is to consider you for suitable job opportunities and, if necessary, to contact you. We regularly review whether continued storage aligns with the original purpose and delete your data once it becomes clear that no further placement is expected or you withdraw your consent.
