Account Executive – Recruitment (m/f/d) – U.S. Market | Germany-Based (Remote)

We are a specialized recruitment agency focused on technical and customer-facing roles within the electronics industry. Our niche includes technical sales, field application engineers, solutions engineers, and related commercial roles.
After more than 15 years of successful operation in Europe, we are currently expanding our activities into the U.S. market. This role focuses operationally on the U.S. while being contractually based in Germany.
This is a commercial (client-facing) role within an agency environment — not an internal corporate recruiting position.
About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive with a strong commercial mindset to support the development of our U.S. recruitment business.
The role focuses on client acquisition, market development, and closing new business opportunities within a clearly defined niche.
You will work closely with our recruitment team and play a key role in building and converting client relationships into active mandates.
The position is particularly suited for candidates who understand recruitment environments and are comfortable operating on the client side of the process.
Working Model
- Part-time structure (25–30 hours per week)
- Remote (Germany-based employment contract)
- Flexible scheduling
- Working hours aligned with U.S. business hours
- Typically between 14:00–20:00 CET
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach target companies within the U.S. electronics and semiconductor market
- Conduct structured outbound outreach (primarily phone-based) to relevant decision makers
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities (discovery calls)
- Lead initial client conversations and assess hiring needs
- Convert qualified opportunities into active recruitment mandates
- Manage early-stage client relationships and ensure smooth handover into the recruitment process
- Collaborate closely with recruiters to align client expectations and candidate delivery
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of new opportunities and market activity
- Contribute to the overall development of our U.S. market approach
Qualifications
- Experience in a recruitment agency environment or strong exposure to recruitment processes
- Experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales (preferably in a service-based environment)
- Comfortable with proactive outreach and phone-based communication
- Ability to structure conversations and guide prospects toward concrete hiring discussions
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
- Professional-level English (written and spoken)
- Experience with the U.S. market is a strong advantage
Compensation
- Fixed base salary (Germany-based part-time contract)
- Performance-based commission tied to successful placements
