Technical Lead / Development Project Manager (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally operating technology company specializing in innovative high-tech solutions for demanding industrial and technical applications. In a modern development environment, forward-looking products are created and used worldwide in research, communications, and precision technologies. To support sustainable growth at the Berlin site, we are looking for a Technical Lead / Development Project Manager (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
- Lead complex development projects in the field of optical and electronic assemblies
- Plan, manage, and monitor project budgets, schedules, and technical risks
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams from R&D, Quality, Production, and Product Management
- Define technical requirements and support development processes through to series production readiness
- Assist with prototype builds, validation activities, and the introduction of new products into manufacturing
- Ensure manufacturable, quality-oriented product development processes
- Serve as a technical contact person within national and international project structure
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Physics, Photonics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in the development of optical or optoelectronic components
- Proven experience in technical project leadership and handling complex development projects
- Strong knowledge of optics, photonics, precision assembly, or opto-mechanical systems
- Confident use of project management methods and related tools
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a structured working style
- Ideally, experience working in international project teams and familiarity with relevant quality standards
