Our client is an innovative technology company based in the greater Munich area, specializing in high-performance semiconductor solutions and advanced data transmission technologies for the mobility sector. To support sustainable growth at the Munich site, we are currently seeking a Senior Application Engineer (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Analysis, evaluation, and characterization of analog circuit functions in modern semiconductor products
• Development and implementation of suitable measurement methodologies, including statistical analysis of test results
• Programming of software solutions (e.g., in Python and C/C++) for controlling hardware, measurement systems, and interfaces
• Creation of reference designs and development of application boards using common layout tools
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across development, testing, and application engineering in an international environment
• Support of product maturity processes and contribution to innovative projects in the automotive sector
• Acting as a technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders in complex development projects

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable field
• Strong interest in complex electronic systems and hands-on work with new technologies
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, or signal generators
• Solid knowledge of high-speed interfaces and their analysis (e.g., jitter, eye diagrams, TDR)
• Ideally, understanding of SerDes architectures and signal processing
• Programming skills, particularly in Python, are desirable
• Strong communication skills in both German and English
